Water Sanitation Impact
“Water is at the core of sustainable development and is critical for socio-economic development, energy and food production, healthy ecosystems and for human survival itself. Water is also at the heart of adaptation to climate change, serving as the crucial link between society and the environment.”
– The United Nations.
Here at PMC, we believe that every person has the right to have access to clean water. Apart from using clean filtered water throughout our facility, we will also strive to do the following:
- Educate the community about water sanitation
- Provide boreholes with desalination systems in the community
- Educate the community on how to safely harvest and sanitize rain water
- Work with other organisations to provide clean and safe water to our community
“At the human level, water cannot be seen in isolation from sanitation. Together, they are vital for reducing the global burden of disease and improving the health, education and economic productivity of populations.” – The United Nations.
